Relationships Matter
A foundation of Achievement Education is that every student has at least one positive relationship with an adult at their campus to guide them and give them the hope they need to thrive and achieve.
We believe the relationship between teacher and student is so important that we include a comprehensive, proactive and intentional approach to fostering and measuring positive student/educator relationships as a part of achievement education.

Relationships = Achieving Students
Achieving students are happy and hopeful with a strong sense of well-being and engagement.
Positive psychology researchers consider these essential building blocks for a successful and socially/emotionally balanced child and there is no better way to build a socially and emotionally achieving student than a positive relationship between students and their teacher.
See what our students are saying
“Hands down the most influential person in my life. He always knew what to say to help his students, whether it was failing a test, anxiety about the future, or helping them get through a really tough home situation. He’s my biggest role model as I go through college right now. I don’t know where I’d be without him.”
This is one of literally thousands of examples used to describe a favorite teacher in one of three “relationship surveys” conducted throughout the school year.
