Setting students on the path to achievement

Academic learning is inextricably linked to social and emotional competence

Wylie ISD’s commitment to excellence does not just begin and end in academic success for all students! As a district we will foster social and emotional health by teaching Relational Skills.  Through The Wylie Way our students will learn to live out the core values set forth by our community and develop a range of skills they need to be successful in school and life.

"We are a school district and group of communities that intentionally and proactively recognize students for their character with awards and celebrations. The foundation for our process of developing character, we call the Wylie Way, is built on relationships."
Dr. David Vinson
WISD Superintendent
